MS Word 365 updating embedded diagrams doesn't work

Hi,

I have an issue with updating embedded diagrams in Word 365. Embedding draw.io diagrams works fine via the draw.io Office addin from the microsoft store. However, when trying to update an embedded diagram the following happens when I click on "update selection" for the draw.io Word addin:

for locally stored diagrams: little window without content opens and closes; embedded diagram is not updated
for diagrams stored in sharepoint or OneDrive: little window without content opens and closes; embedded diagram disappears

Can anyone help?

Hi Hemke,

We've found the bug and working on it. But please note that locally stored diagrams cannot be updated as we don't have permission to read local files.

Also, can you please send us a screenshot of the little window without contents?

Finally, is this the web version of office (which browser) or is it the desktop one (which OS)?

I am using the desktop version with windows 10 pro (10.0.19042 Buld 19042, x64). Screenshot is attached.

Note: The little window is just to show information of what is going on. The screenshot is as expected.

Hey! Thanks for your quick response! Unfortunately, refresh is stuck at the empty window (attachment). Diagram is still not being refreshed.
