Dear Friends,

About 3 years late (due to the pandemic), Bowdoin is throwing me a party with the artist of my choice. I've chosen jazz pianist Bill Cunliffe, whose music you sang at the Camden Amphitheatre .

The announcement from Bowdoin appears below from their concert calendar. You are cordially invited to attend. There are no tickets and an RSVP is not required.

Cheers,

Tony

Teatime Concert: William Cunliffe, piano

Friday, November 3 at 4:30 pm

Kanbar Auditorium, Studzinski Recital HallPianist Bill Cunliffe will put together a lively program of music from the movies. He has created brand new arrangements of immortal classics such as  “Days of Wine and Roses,” “Invitation,” “Whistle While You Work,” “Stella by Starlight,” “Black Orpheus,” and the theme from “Body Heat.” Cunliffe will also do his celebrated “Extravaganza”, where the audience suggests  three tunes, one jazz, one classical and one rock, and

he spontaneously creates a brand new piece based on them. Usually a standing ovation follows!  This concert is in celebration of the Bowdoin career of Anthony Antolini '63; a reception will follow in Main Lounge.
