Getting Runtime Key from Docker Container on EC2

Hi,

I’m running Dubango inside a Docker container on an AWS EC2 instance. I have installed udev as required. Now, I’m calling ultimateMicrSdk.UltMicrSdkEngine_requestRuntimeLicenseKey() within the container to get the runtime license key.

Could you please confirm if this is the correct and supported way to obtain the runtime key in this setup? I want to ensure everything is set up properly before proceeding with the purchase.

Hi,

I don't know which product you're using but the github repo must contain a file named aws.md explaining how to generate runtimeKey for ec2

I’ve installed udev, but I’m not sure if I’m doing everything correctly.

If there’s any guide or example for using Docker with EC2, that would be really helpful.

Hi,

I’m running these commands:

./runtimeKey --type aws-instance --assets ../../../assets 

./runtimeKey --type aws-byol --assets ../../../assets

But I’m getting two different runtime keys. Why is that?

I'm running Docker on an EC2 instance and followed the steps from the URL you provided exactly, but I'm still getting a different keys.

1/ the url clearly says there is no steps to follow to use containers in ec2.

2/ i don't understand why you're expecting to get same key. Your first command attachs the license to the instance, the second attachs it to the hardware. Off course the keys will be different.
