Hi all,
what're dotCMS' plans about the JDK8 end of support?

Thanks,
Giacomo

DotCMS runs on Java SE (Standard Edition).

My understanding is that the “JDK8 end of support” only applies to Java EE (Enterprise Edition) The main difference is that Java EE support will now require a paid contract with Oracle.

Java SE will remain free, as I understand it.
