Hi,

Just troubleshooting our instance I realized that the date search does not work on 5.2.5!

To experience the issue, go to the back end on the demo.
Go to the CONTENT > Content Type: BLOG
Click advanced on the lower part of the left panel
Select a publish date of any blog and voilà ... you will see no results.  Attached are some images for your review.

That Publish field is a date and time field, not a date field, so you probably want to insert a date range as it suggests in the hint (?) field

I just tested with this and it works for date range: [08/23/2010 TO 08/25/2011]

If it was a date field, not a date and time field, then just dropping the date should have worked

Thank you, Dean for the clarification!

However, when I want to get just the records of one day, which is what I intended to do.  For example, [02/24/2011 TO 02/24/2011], it will return no records.  See attachment.  It should return the records of that day, should it not?

I guess this is what works:  [08/23/2011 23:59:59 TO 08/24/2011 23:59:59]  I have to spell out the hour, minutes and seconds.

Thank you for your help!

This might do the same thing:
[02/24/2011 TO 02/25/2011]
