Hello Dot Bikers,
Tomorrow (Sunday 5/18) Elisa and I are planning for an informal Bike & Art ride.
We’ll gather at Homestead Café (1448 Dorchester Ave) at 11 AM, giving us the chance to check out the current exhibit by Sarah Theopall.
Starting around 11:15, we will ride the 2 miles to the Humphrey Studios (11 Humphrey St in Uphams Corner) for their Open Studios.
At 12:15, we’ll keep on riding another 6 miles to the Somerville Annual Bike Pageant. It’s in the courtyard of Aeronaut Brewing at 14 Tyler Street -Somerville.
All the riding will be at a leisurely pace. You are welcome to join us for part or all of the ride.
Worth noting: the red line is out this weekend with only shuttle buses between Broadway and Ashmont.

Sorry, as someone pointed out, tomorrow (the day of the ride) will be Sunday May 19th and not the 18th as I wrote in the previous email. Everything else remains the same. Vivian G

May 18-19: Shuttles replace service between Broadway and Braintree
Alternative Service
Red Line: No trains between Broadway and Braintree.
Shuttles are available between Broadway and Braintree
Riders may consider taking the Commuter Rail shuttle from South Station to Braintree as an alternative express service
