Posters advertising the 27 June screening of The Battle of Algiers at DoES Liverpool have been fly-posted across central Liverpool. During a short walk around Canning and the University of Liverpool I counted at least ten. They are blighting the public realm, and their removal will cost Liverpool City Council several hundred pounds at the very least.
The posters carry the DoES Liverpool name prominently, so the activity reflects poorly on the organisation. Whoever is responsible for this publicity appears to have little regard for fellow citizens or for our city. I would like them to put matters right without delay.
