I was playing my original DM48 for silent practice last nite and this
morning the lowest two or three holes make a ringing sound and no note when
I blow in. The draw works better. Water problem, maybe? Can anyone
offer a definitive answer to this problem? There isn't a troubleshooting
section in the manual.

A correction: it's in orchestra tuning and none of the C notes in the
second and third holes work. There's a draw (slide in) C and a blow C in
the second hole and a blow C in the third hole. None of these work - just
ringing sound, but all of the notes around them work. Weird. I've had
this for a few years and this has never happened before?? doug tanner,

AND, the c# blow in the second and third hole doesn't work either.
HOwever, if I tranpose up one octave, they all work (in the higher octave,
but same holes). Something wrong with the specific note sensors?

Dear Doug,
Can you give some more details regarding your setup? If the same holes work fine when transposing up, it cannot really be a sensor issue. Do you have the same problem regardless of what synth/app you are using?

I use an app called "heavy Brass" I have no other. I've used it for years
and it was working fine until I'd been playing for a couple of hours.
