consume Google API through REST API

[New Django user]

I am new to Django and building a simple webpage where the user can upload a file and then that file will be processed using Google API. I am done with creating a user login page but not sure how to start with the 2nd part i.e. file upload and Google API.

Can anyone help me or suggest some tutorials to start with? I need to use REST API to consume Google API.
