Is there anyone whos used Django with webfaction that has made there own tutorial ?

seem to be having issues with it one question if anyone has if you make a new project from scratch do you still need to use the virtualenv to create a project

No, you don't need to use virtualenv with WebFaction's Django setup.

WebFaction's own Django documentation shows you how to create a new project within a Django installation installed via their control panel:

cd ~/webapps/name_of_django_install

./bin/django-admin.py startproject whatever
