Dreamhost for Django hosting.

I am trying to host my Django website on Dreamhost, I am wondering if Dreamhost provides a virtual linux box that can allow you to ssh in?

Hi,

I use Dreamhost, they don't have a virtualbox on shared server.

But you can use your own python environment with pyenv.

I've had good luck hosting an app with a Dreamhost shared hosting account.  I even wrote a post about it a couple of years ago. (Maybe I should update it for 2014)
