Prefer the ebook of "django for beginners" by William S vincent.
His lessons are easy to grasp for any beginner wanting to learn django.

python is learnt best by doing. As a lesson familiar with other languages, I found it easy to go through the steps in the python official documentation: https://docs.python.org/3/tutorial/
