Differences between Django 1.1 and 1.8

Hi experts,

I am working on book Beginning Django Ecommerce(1.1).Based on this document i wanna develop applications in Django(1.8).Please help me getting the differences between 1.1 and 1.8

You can check the changes between versions in the release notes: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.8/releases/

If you can, I think you should read a recent book or you will have to read each every difference between versions( And had many important changes).
