Django Logging Send Email on Openshift

Is anybody using OpenShift for Django hosting? I'm having trouble configuring the Logging engine to send emails on errors and could use some help.

It's not a good idea to send emails directly from OpenShift since we are on AWS ip ranges. You should use a service like SendGrid or MailGun.
