i need to learn more on django

i just got started on django and though it looks complicated, i am told i can learn it which i know its possible.so joining this community should help me achieve that.

Learning from YouTube is a good way to start(and also best if your python skill is good). You can also pay for a Udemy course if you can afford it. The best way to improve is working on project(s) and finishing them.

Go through docs and create polls app by following docs. If you didn't get some topics re read it, try to learn hard way, seak help with chatGPT if you can't understand it. When you got a grasp over polls app then add some features by yourself and create a mental model of CRUD.

Once you know that, you have very strong foundation of django then pick one project of your own choice like blog app, e commerce. And start building that and ask your problems with chatGPT or google it or skim through docs 

Don't watch YouTube videos series or udemy courses they will make you dumb.

Try harder way and you will be at your best after 2 months by this road.

Otherwise tutorial hell will lead you to imposter syndrome.

Hello naomi,

When i start i start with simple function based Views but later i see this you should only use on beginning to understand whats happen in listview, updateview, createview and deleteview.

Many things in django we use class based  views which makes things much much easier.

Without CRUD nothing works in django. So try to understand this tutorial and begin with 1 model and try to create this 4 views for your first model.

it is an opensource program so there are a lot of sites that offers learning.
