Managing existing UI

Hi All,
which are the best practices while developing a full Django app (version 1.5, Phyton 3) starting from an existing html UI ? The template approach is still valid ? In this case which is the impact over existing html UI ?

Hello Paolo,

I really don't get your question. The templates are still used in Django. You should be aware of the Model View Controller philosophy. Actually in Django is Model Templates (as View) View (as Controller).

PS: If you are going to use Python 3 be sure to start with Django 1.6 (released few days ago) as it's the first release to support Python 3. But still, if you are a beginner please start with Python 2.7.x
