[Urgent for my intership] How to send matplotlib generated figures to django web app?

I want to show in my web app figures generated with matplotlib.pyplot but I don't find how to do it.

Someone can explain me how it works?

I've seen that post but it doesn't response to my problem. It use pylab instead of pyplot and I want to pass the generated image to the template via the render method to display it in a specific part of my html page.
