First app using mouse click event

Hi,

I am very new to web development and started learning django few days back as I really like and enjoy Python. I have done the first tutorial and I understand some of the basic concepts. I want to develop an app where I need to record mouse clicks from the user, can someone please guide me to a simple example which can explain how to do this?
