How can I use tika in python 3.4

The python binding for tika is not working on python 3.4. How can I use tika in 3.4? Have anyone installed and use it?

If you are using the tika-python package then it has an outstanding but report that it doesn't work with python3 https://github.com/chrismattmann/tika-python/issues/73
