Thanks for reporting this problem.

Can you please provide more information about the issue you experienced,
such as the exact function that you tried to use?
Also what does the following refer to: "Some like gmail do not allow you
to change the name"?
Do you mean that ''settings.DEFAULT_FROM_EMAIL'' variable does not get
overwritten regardless of what you set ''from_email'' to?

This is not an issue in Django (see #31966) and we cannot document all
caveats in external services.
