from apollo13 in #20766:

The docs should make clear that you can still use [FastCGI with Django
even though `runfcgi` is being deprecated]; eg have a small page
describing it like this:
http://werkzeug.pocoo.org/docs/deployment/fastcgi/ and offer http
://uwsgi-docs.readthedocs.org/en/latest/Options.html#fastcgi-socket as a
runfcgi replacement.

Thanks for the feedback. If this functionality is considered obsolete,
I'm happy to close the PR or adjust the documentation as recommended.
Please let me know what would be preferred.
