Thank you for the ticket Ludwig. Apologies I didn't give more context as
to why I found the ticket confusing

I have revised this to be a new feature, rather than a bug, as this is a
change of behavior which has downstream consequences and not everyone
would want to accept these URLs
This would likely want to be configurable, similar to `schemes`, possibly
with an allow all option.
