everyone uses new gettext this workaround may no longer be needed.

`raw_prefix` has since moved to
[https://github.com/django/django/blob/a57596e443ecb67140e1a9fc0f0e87446b2d0174/django/utils/translation/template.py#L56-L57
django/utils/translation/template.py].

It may be a few years before this ticket is actionable, hence
"Someday/Maybe" status.
