Request for feedback for QuerySet.filtered_relation() inclusion in 1.11

Hi,
We'd like to receive some feedback on the pull request
https://github.com/django/django/pull/7560
that address the ticket https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/27332.

This pull request allows to pass custom filtering within the "ON" SQL
clauses.
This functionality might improve performance of joins with large tables,
but also helps to insure correctness of some aggregation queries like
illustrated by the commit
https://github.com/django/django/pull/7560/commits/861894e3cca4ff3fa8ef574937814826d5857fe2
of that pull request.
