Regarding a bug fix

As I'm new to open source. I found a ticket and want to fix that but that ticket was issued 6 years ago. So I wanted to know is it worth it to fix that?

Hi Nishant. Welcome.

If it’s an open ticket, it’s likely that it’s a genuine issue. Often they sit for a while for want of someone motivated to pick them up.

Some are more significant, some less. If it’s something affecting you personally, or if you’ve looked at it and think you can address it, and are looking for a first issue to take on, then I’d say either of those are good enough reasons. 🙂

Which issue are you looking at?
