click is not triggered after edit form is submitted

when I work in edit mode on some page, after I click "save" button on component form overlay box to submit some of my changes to the component, and then I found previously bound click handlers for the component can't be triggered correctly until we publish the page.

I wonder if it is a feature or a bug?
