Hi everybody,

I was wondering if there are any ressources on the web like lab protocols and descriptions how to assess some medical lab values at home.
Let´s say, you´re really interested in medicine and are kind of a "hobby-physician",
so it would be great to assess some blood values at home,
for example transaminases and other enzymes like LDH and lipase.
Is this possible at all or does this imply you need a lot of expensive lab tools and very difficult procedures?
Thank you in advance

it can be done at home, you just need to look for the right kits (and how to get them). for hemo-related analysis, you can use old school methods  for enzyme related, look for elisa or similar hardware to read values

procedures are easy and dont need expensive hardware.

main problem you can found is a wrong value. so, as a hobby it shouldnt be a problem. if the idea is follow the evolution of a diease... go to a real doctor
