We are working on an article about experiments of biologists-enthusiasts. We want the do-it-yourself biology community to get more publicity, and you can help us.

About you: You conduct biological experiments for entertainment and to satisfy your curiosity. Or maybe you order genetic kits home. You walk around and think about your experiment and look for equipment for it, or you have already found it and are very happy. We are interested to hear your story!

What country are you in, where will it appear?

To be frank, most things I do nowadays are institutionalized or being done in a non-profit so that suppliers actually sell to you.

We are from Russia. But we would be interested in stories from any country. It seems that the difficulties of DIY biologists should be similar, and many existing solutions are applicable all around the world.
