Hi,

Has anyone access to this paper?

A good friend of mine studies physiotherapy and said she found out my university has bought that paper. So I should have access, but only from the bibliotheque. Tried it from home, only paywalls.

Next time I could possibly go into university is Monday, but if possible she'd need it earlier...

Would be nice if anyone could  help out ;)

Best,
Andreas

Sci-hub.org was mentioned on this list. You might have to switch
through a proxy or two, but it gets the job done.

sci-hub.org is backing up all of its papers to Library Genesis. I
highly recommend this approach. Also, if you have 12 terabytes laying
around, you should mirror Library Genesis. Now if only we could
convince sci-hub.org or Library Genesis to use pdfparanoia..

You mean http://library-genesis.com/ ?
Fascinating: WhoIs reveals they're registered in the US, I wonder why
Elsevier hasn't tried to kill this yet?

Not quite. I prefer these front-ends:

http://libgen.org/
http://libgen.org/scimag/

http://libgen.net/

If you have the storage space, I recommend seeding the torrents and
regularly grabbing the new torrents. Otherwise it will go nowhere.

Ah, much better. I was dismayed at the clean, useless interface of the
other one.

Where's the torrent portal/API url?

Would anyone be interested in a RECAP-esq Chrome extension that would provide a link to a paper (if available) when on the corresponding Pubmed page?

"if available" how is that determined? from what?

And no, I would not be interested in a Chrome extension. I would be
more interested in the process you use to find a link to a pdf, rather
than a Chrome-specific extension. In the paperbot repository, I use a
combination of zotero translation-server and custom python scrapers,
but hopefully I can not rely on Gecko in the future.

Thanks for the input Bryan.

If anyone else would be interested, feel free to get in touch.

Thanks,
