For all those who like the Cadillac of reagents, extraction kits, etc. your lab budgets probably aren't about to get smaller. ThermoFisher is buying Qiagen for $11.5 bn. People claim its the COVID-19 kits but I think the equipment+reagent strategy is just as likely.
