Hey all! I wanted to PCR the Cas9 out of this guy and saw that it was in some types of yogurt. Does anyone here have this strain or know how I can purify it? Or could I try and PCR it straight out of yogurt xD Any advice would be helpful

Most, rather than some, types of yoghurt. :)
You can PCR the yoghurt but if Cas9 is a gene found in many/most bacteria you'll get lots of mixed results: best isolate it first.
