Hey everyone. I have been reading this group for a few months now. I love all the information that is exchanged here. I myself was a biology major in college in the early 90s until I learned how much IT people made and switched.

I do love biology still to this day. Im still reading and learning and hoping I can maybe start some of my own projects in the future.

Two personal areas of interest I have as hobbies are honey bees and gardening. Maybe I can find something there to help out humanity.

Anyway. Thanks for all the information

Hi!
Where are you located? Maybe there are diy people around, to make getting started easier!

Hi Aaron,

Beekeeping and diybio/citizen science is a nice match.
Recently, I came across the openbeehives project http://www.opensourcebeehives.net/ = router cut hives with online sensor networks.

cheers,
