I have had something promising going on. However it would appear to me that humanity does not merit the advancement, so idgaf. Agent Smith's opinion seems more apropos.
In alternate news, I have several acquaintances who admit to using CPAP machines. I ask if they have attempted to increase their VO2Max instead, and they always admit they have never heard of such a thing. So, (as a generality), add CPAP's to the list of bandaid-scams prescribed by western medicine rather than attempt preventative measures first. The only way these humans have been roped into using CPAP's is that they disengaged their critical thinking skills rather than grill their doctors sufficiently and/or attempt to diagnose themselves first.
If any biohacker or science-eager high schooler reads this and is looking for a basic noninvasive project, consider running a group of CPAP users through daily HIIT training with regular VO2Max measurements and diy "sleep studies" aka logging and video monitoring. My money is that CPAP's are more often than not unnecessary and due to their side-effects are more harmful than the preventative method of intense physical therapy. The results would be worth publishing.
