The first public BRAAVOO Workshop and Creative Design Course, particularly targeting PhD and Master students and postdoctoral researchers at the interface between biology and microengineering, will be held 31 January - 6 February 2016 in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Registration for the course opened on the 1st of November and can be done online until 11 December 2015 via the project website (www.braavoo.org).
Further information about the course is also available via this wiki page: http://wiki.biodesign.cc/wiki/Winter_School

To note: only limited space (20 participants) will be available!

The BRAAVOO project, funded by the European FP7 program, aims to automatically detect marine pollution using nanotech and three types of biosensor modules.

its a little funny given you are funded by fp7 that you still ask us to work for cost.

Jeez.. they have got to eat. Apparently Lausanne has the 6th highest cost of living of all the cities in the world; http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/rankings.jsp

150chf is barely enough to buy a big mac over there .... ;-)

Rather be a PhD student in lusanne than London anyway.  They pay great, they treat you like a professional and they make sure you have enough money to eat out every night. ;)(or week)

Who owns the Intellectual Property for work done at the event?  Since this is DIYbio I would hope it is the attendees and not the affiliated institutions (and especially, if it is a government funded program).
