Hi All,

Here is the project that I won 2nd place with at the wuhan 2020 corona virus hackathon (https://community.wuhan2020.org.cn/en-us/hackathon/index.html):

You will notice when I click on the Generate Vaccine button I want to order the human receptor blocking protein from a dna synthesis company.  My question is if this is really possible and if so what companies would have an api to give me a quote and order it?

If a person did order an e-coli cell with the protein expressed, how could they harvest the protein and test it?

I haven't heard of any API accessible biotech companies in terms of ordering. The general consumers are not that into computer programming. Best bet would be to use selenium or something, and programmatically navigate their rendered webpages. Twist is the go-to for synthesis these days, for many people.
