Hi everybody,

My name is Andres ("don" @arcturusBiocloud). This mail-list is just
the first step towards a more elaborate communication among the
biohacker spaces.

It came from the conversation at the iGEM meeting of community labs,
where we identified that the DIY Bio mail-list is not a good method of
communication. After the presentation of the members here in the list,
we will discuss how to find a method to make this communication better
and focus our efforts as a community to leverage our group in front
the different governments and organizations to find more resources
that allow us continue pursuing our goals.

One of the possibilities for fulfilling our goal of science
democratization and find resources was the proposal of being the
places that fill the gap for high-school students to access resources
to develop projects.

So lets begin for introducing, if somebody is here that is not known
by everyone and lets find a good tool of develop projects and material
together to support our community.

thanks,

Edgar Andrés Ochoa C.

Why splinter the community, experts who don't check often will miss out on opportunity to contribute (all those who didn't get the update that a splintering occurred).
