recommendations for bio lab simulators?

I've been doing some digging in search of halfway decent bio lab
simulators, and I'm not yet finding exactly the sort of thing I thought
might be out there by now.

Does the group have recommendations on lab simulators? Interactive,
open, and extensible for preference, but I'm also interested in looking
at what's being sold or companies that work on products in this area.

I'm hoping that being less specific will net me a larger grab-bag of
pointers to sift through. Even if it's not what I want, it's still
interesting to look at what is being done.
