Doing research on how to commoditize cell-stasis.

http://www.cryo-cell.com/  < this company has claimed  100% thaw efficacy with their cord blood samples ( yes I'm skeptical too ) using a chemical / process called Prepacyte

SO:
1) Who here has their cells in stasis
2) Why doesn't this have massive adoption?
3) Is anyone headed to the Health Extension meetup tonight with Greg Fahy?  ( He happens to be a world leader in vitrification, and his opinion on stasis-ing adult cells would be awesome )

My interest happens to be that this is a market right at the edge of a strict engineering discipline, with numerous companies managing the bio-banking ... and if positioned right instantly financially stable.

I have that same question, especially in light of how common blood banking is. I often get strange looks from others when I recommend it. "What, the cells in my body won't be around in 40 years? Puh-leeze." So it's probably a marketing issue at this point (explaining the benefits of having healthy cells that you can go pick up whenever you please).
