Chemical store/Lab supply in San Franscisco

Hi guys,

a friend of mine wants to buy low ammounts of some amino acids and glucose for some initial tests of culturing insect cells. Does anyone here know of a pickup store in San Francisco to walk in and buy the reagents?

Check out your local university. I bet you UCSF has a biology supply story in one of it's bio- cmb- or bme departments. We have a store like this at Michigan (https://medicine.umich.edu/medschool/research/office-research/biomedical-research-core-facilities/biomedical-research-store). Clientele may only be limited to the university, but it's worth checking on. Otherwise, just try ordering from Life Technologies website...that's probably your best bet.
