Hi all,

In honour of the Synbio Future Conference held last Friday (which was
great! Expect videos soon!), we extended the deadline for applications
to IndieBio Ireland this Summer.

Applicants for this Summer will be eligible for:
* $50,000 seed funding, with potential to raise up to $70,000 for
high-performing teams.
* 3 months' access to a fully equipped BSL2 lab including fab and
automation equipment such as 3D printing and an OpenTrons1 (pending
shipping/setup).
* A programme of mentorship and coaching on everything from the crunchy
science to the art of communication and the tarpit of business
development and marketing.
* Time spent working with 9 other inspiring teams developing amazing and
perhaps complementary products, forging relationships to outlast the
programme!
* Immersion in an exciting and fast-changing biomaker community in a
city (Cork) and country (Ireland) regularly praised as key places to
visit by Lonely Planet and others. Get involved and help grow
FormaLabs.org if you're so inclined, or take some weekend time to
explore the rest of the country!
* A super-great programme Director, I promise

Application is simple, can be completed in your own time, and carries no
obligation; just log in at https://www.f6s.com/indiebioaccelerator to
get started. Team, History, Concept and Progress are what we love to
hear about, grammatical or prosaic quality are irrelevant. :)

Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Have I mentioned that there is something wrong with your application?
I am always redirected to search results from my internet provider.

Hi Yuriy,
Could you share which URL you try and where you get redirected? If the URL looks ok then it may be an issue with your ISP..

I am quoting Verizon on this
"Sorry, We could not find cork.indie.bio
It may be unavailable or may not exist. Try using the suggestions or related links below, or search again using our web search."

Try using the Torproject.org browser bundle: if it works, it's just Verizon being idiots. If not, maybe your system or browser is just assuming no website ebding in .bio can exist, because it's pretty new?

What browser&version/OS are you using? Can you install a recent version of Firefox and try again?

I think the issue is you have the wrong domain. Should it not be eu.indie.bio rather than cork.indie.bio ?

How did I miss the cork prefix? Yes! Sorry, it was briefly Cork but is now EU: is the splashpage pointing to the wrong subdomain? D:

No: we had a generous application period followed by a generous extension.

If you tried to apply and couldn't for some techie reason, mail me offlist.

Now I have some exciting teams to interview: can't wait to release the final list here! I think there'll be some familiar names for ye to enjoy. ;)
