Can someone point me in the direction on how to synthesize Somatropin? Or at least where to start researching?

HGH is another expensive biologic, and probably a grey area drug, since it's so often associated with steroid use.

Things like HGH can save someones life, or destroy it.  Hormones are pretty powerful and their chemistry is quite interesting, especially since the timing of their release and the dosages have such a profound affect upon the body and mind.

That said, google would give you everything you need to know.  Wikipedia will probably even give you the amino acid sequence, and i'm sure the DNA sequence for the protein is published.    I don't think you'll be able to express it in E. Coli and inject it to get huge though.

For high quality amino sequence don't trust Wikipedia, go directly to
uniprot.org. Prefer gold-starred sequences, and feel inspired to read
the references, if any. Get to know your protein; does it need
post-translational modification? Is there a signal peptide that needs
cleaving? Does it get glycosylated? Does it need help folding? Are there
cysteine for disulphide bridges?

If DIYbio had a homepage with useful information for beginners, I
think this should
be the answer to 'how do I synthesize X (which is a protein)'.
