Betterhumans is getting rid of some excess equipment, currently located in Lafayette, NY. Please write immediately if anyone wants these.

Cage Change Station: good condition.

Nuaire NU-425-400 Flow Hood: rough condition.

Nuaire NU-2500 Incubator: refurbished and was working before moving to NY. Unknown whether it still works.

These MUST be picked up in person. They are not on pallets. Bring your own help to load them. Suggest a U-Haul trailer with ramp. The Cage Change Station and Incubator are pretty easily moveable, but the Flow Hood is big and heavy.

Email James Clement at jcle...@betterhumans.org.

Thanks,

James

I was just looking at buying a NuAire hood for a hundred bucks, or so... and was wondering if you (or anyone else here) had experience with it. I want to do some spin-coating, and feel like I'd want exhausting during initial prep, but clean air after prep was done when I was actually going to be using the stuff I spin-coat.

We have the 6 foot wide model at Counter Culture Labs. The only problem is that it's fairly hard to open and close (requires a lot of force) but that could just be because it's old.
