Unless too many players notify me that it’s not as recondite as I thought, The Word for Round 3639 is:

BIGILLA

Please let me have your proposals for a definition (the only restriction being that they not betray knowledge of what it actually means), by the deadline of Monday 13 April at 22:15 CEST. That is 47 hours from time of posting, and ⏱️ hours from the time you read this.

Send your fake definition to: defin...@boargules.com and not to any other addresses you may have for me. If you click on the linked address, your email client will provide a suitable compose-message screen, pre-filled with the correct address and subject line, guaranteed Dixon-free.

You should get an immediate automated acknowledgement, if you have sent the definition to the right address, and I will also acknowledge all submissions personally, though that will be less than immediate.

Or, perhaps Gilla - whoever that is - is attracted to both men and women?

With 24 hours to the deadline of  Monday 13 April at 22h15 CEST I have four definitions and one tentative DQ for the word BIGILLA. I have seen and acknowledged definitions from

  • Debbie Embler

  • Judy Madnick

  • Efrem Mallach

  • Dan Widdis

which is not an encouraging number. If you have submitted a definition and your name is not on this list, please check that you have sent it to defin...@boargules.com and not to any other address you have for me. I rely on the address to filter incoming definitions, so please don’t assume I will notice if you have sent your definition somewhere else. Failing that, reply in public with the date and time of your submission so that we can sort the problem out.

With 12 hours to the deadline of  Monday 13 April at 22h15 CEST I have nine fake definitions and one tentative DQ for the word BIGILLA. I have seen and acknowledged definitions from

  • Tony Abell

  • Eric Boxer

  • Debbie Embler

  • Tim Lodge

  • Judy Madnick

  • Efrem Mallach

  • Mike Shefler

  • Nancy Shepherdson

  • Dan Widdis

which a little less discouraging than the last tally, but I would welcome more. If you have submitted a definition and your name is not on this list, please check that you have sent it to defin...@boargules.com. Failing that, reply in public with the date and time of your submission and we can sort something out.
