Having spent some time in the Outer Hebrides, I know a few Scottish names of seabirds, but I hadn't come acraoss FASKIDAR, the Northern Gull (5).  Johnny Barrs, Paul Keating, and Efrem Mallach guessed correctly, leaving me with a D3.  Johnny also got 4 votes for his Bengali Lance-Corporal, making him the new dealer.  Judy Madnick, Paul Keating, and Efrem Mallach tied as the lucky runners-up with 3 points apiece.

Over to you, Johnny.

Correction:

- Tim Bourne was actually the runner-up with 4 votes for his tea plantation supervisor.

Tim Bourne was a natural 4 - mine was compromised by voting for the seagull - so Tim B is the next dealer

I'm not quite sure how you've worked that out.  You and Tim B both got 4 votes, but you also got 2 points for a correct guess, making a total of 6. In my eyes, that makes you the new dealer.

Minor correction, too: I voted for 12 and 13, not 12 and 12, so Judy Madnick should get one more point.

Well spotted, Deb!  That means that Johnny B ends up with 5* and Judy gets 4.  No change to the new dealer.

Here's the new summary table:

I’m pretty sure I voted for another def than 11.  I think it was 7. Which would make Paul 4*.

Still no change to the dealer. 😊

Dan

You're absolutely right.  I don't know how that happened - I've got it right on my manual back-up sheet.  Here's a revised summary.  Mike S please note for the rolling scores.
