Folks,

Please send fake definitions of DREY (nothing implied about its capitalization) to emal...@verizon.net by the deadline, about 39 1/2 hours from now:

Boston, USA             Mon, Dec 1, 2025 at 12:00 noon EST
Chicago, USA           Mon, Dec 1, 2025 at 11:00 am CST
Los Angeles, USA       Mon, Dec 1, 2025 at 9:00 am PST
Wellington, New Zealand Tue, Dec 2, 2025 at 6:00 am NZDT
Paris, France           Mon, Dec 1, 2025 at 6:00 pm CET
London, United Kingdom Mon, Dec 1, 2025 at 5:00 pm GMT

Please let me know as soon as practical, at the same email address or via a public Reply that doesn't hint at its meaning, if you know what DREY means.

If nothing comes up to extend the definition period, I expect votes to be due Wednesday morning in North America.

New players are welcome, as are old ones who've been quiet for a while. Just send me a definition that you invented without looking up the word. Full rules at  http://www.dixonary.net/game-rules-and-advice/rules.

Before I find another word on the basis of this DQ and Paul's likely DQ, I should say (not just to them, but to everyone) that DREY is unrelated to DRAY, a heavy horse cart (and the source of other words such as drayage). Could the two of you please confirm that you know, or in Paul's case think you know, this other meaning?

Thanks,

Efrem

I'm pretty certain I know the meaning of both DRAY and DREY.
