The word for this round is

    ****************
    *              *
    *  VICARIANCE  *
    *              *
    ****************

As usual, no indication of capitalisation or otherwise is implied.

New players are welcome. Don't look in a dictionary. If you know the word, let me know soon, by email (if too many people know it, we'll pick another word).

Think up a creative, intriguing, funny or genuine looking definition that will entice your fellow players to vote for it. Send it BY EMAIL (not as a public forum message) to me, <johnn...@gmail.com> or <jo...@john-barrs.co.uk> before the deadline...

I guess I’ll have to forward this until I figure out the new reply method.

John et al,

I’m going to sit out for a bit. My wife and I are leaving for Italy tomorrow and will be there through the first 3 weeks of July attending the Assisi Performing Arts Festival. While I expect to have Wi-Fi access, I wouldn’t be able to deal and just keeping up with things could be iffy. So we’ll be focusing on music, pasta, Umbrian vino, and gelato (not necessarily in that order).

Ciao and arrivederci,

Chris

(Sheesh. I had to start over because the first time I clicked on "reply" and only Chris would have received my message...which isn't even meant for him! Now if I reply to all, Chris is in the "to" field and the group is in the cc field. So I have to delete Chris's email address and add the group email address to the "to field" because it's shown as a cc. Bottom line, I think the old way is better, at least based upon my email program.

Tim, have a wonderful vacation! It sounds like a real treat!

Judy – if you can just click “reply all” when you mean to reply to all and not just the sender…. That avoids having to do any adding/deleting of anything.

I recognize it’s a change from what we’re used to in this group, but it is NOT a change from how email works everywhere other than google groups.
