Round 3252: SHAKESPEARE-NAVELS update

With just under 12 hours to the deadline, I have only 6 submissions for BARD-BELLY-BUTTONS from Paul Keating, Judy Madnick, Mike Shefler, Efrem Mallach, Debbie Embler, and Tim Lodge.

 

The rest of you need to do some omphaloskepsis and send me a def!

 

As a reminder, the deadline is 10 pm PDT on Sunday, May 15.  That’s Monday May 16 at 1am EDT, 6 am BST at the Greenwich Meridian and elsewhere in the UK, 7am CEST at la Méridienne de France and in most of Europe, 3 pm AEST in Melbourne and 5pm NZST in Auckland.

Seems we are getting fewer and fewer participants. This may be the death knell of dixonary.

What is the best public link to advertise this group? I only use gmail to play so I've lost track of the website. I'd like to publish it to Facebook.

Two people whom I introduced to the game, my brother Alan and Deborah Fein, are on temporary hiatus for different and irrelevant reasons but hope to rejoin it when the reasons go away. (Neither reason has anything to do with injury or illness, fortunately.)

That said, more players would be nice!

Thanks, Judy. I'm still not seeing where someone joins, probably because I'm already there. Even using my other email accounts, it continues to default to this group that I'm already a member. Where is the join button??

I know with the Google Groups for which I'm an administrator, there's a button somewhere to join because as an administrator, there's a "pending" button that shows if someone has asked to join.

Of course, you have more room on Facebook than I did on Twitter so you could include an example (ie a word that's been played with half a dozen defs and invite people to guess so they can see how the game works)
