Here we have 13 imaginative defs of the word SYSSITIA, only one of which comes from my dictionary.  Please vote for your two favourites by public reply to this message before the deadline, which is:

I read through the whole list without finding one I believed.

 

So on the second cycle I decided to get some gas.

Dan has a better success rate than I do. I usually take about 5 passes and talk myself out of anything that sounds too promising. I have no idea.
