Here we have 13 defs of the word SKIMMINGTON only one of which comes from my dictionary.  Please vote for your two favourites by public reply to this message before the deadline:

4 & 5. 

There's something odd about the name of the organization in 4, that I can't put my finger on. But there are probably several organizations with similar names.

and

11.  A variety of pink (_Dianthus plumarius_) bred by Lucy Skimmington. A single version of Mrs Sinkins; white with ruffled purple borders. This variety now lost and not known in any current plantsman's catalogue (because I hope not to have to deal!!)
