Folks,

Round 3099 was a tight race to the end, with the 9-11 pair attracting five votes. Judy Madnick's shifting sand dune (#9) got two other votes as well, giving her a natural 7 and the next deal, while Shani Naylor's Turkish musical instrument got only one other. Shani has a natural 6 and is the traditional "winnah."

A pahan is a village priest of Sarna Dhorom, def. #8. Some dictionaries don't have it, but Wiktionary - on the first page in a Google search, after a few hits for Dr. Kalipada Pahan - does, as do many other sources. I was cruising for a D0 until Ryan McGill messed it up as the next-to-last voter. If that's the worst thing that happens to me today, it will still be a very good day.
